Loadout is a first-person shooter prototype developed in Unity for GDKO Round 2, focused around a Quick Time Event (QTE) reload system.

The core gameplay challenge centers on reloading your customized weapon under pressure. Successfully completing reload QTEs improves reload speed and efficiency, adding tension and player interaction during combat.

This project was created under game jam time constraints and was used as an opportunity to experiment with:

  • FPS gameplay systems
  • Interactive QTE mechanics
  • Weapon handling and shooting systems
  • Player feedback and timing-based interactions
  • UI and pause menu implementation

Controls

  • W,A,S,D — Move
  • Mouse — Look Around
  • Left Mouse Button — Shoot
  • R — Reload
  • E — Interact with QTE
  • TAB — Pause Menu

Hey.
You are prob. still working on this BUT if you go to the bench and are looking down, you cannot see the weapon at all. Might want to make it auto focus on the gun.
